We know how important it is to find the right dance school for your child and for your family. Here are some things you don’t know about us that make us stand out from the rest and will help you experience the difference with us.
What makes us different to the rest?
1. Watch your child in class
We don’t want you to miss out on a single step your child learns and performs in our studio. We invite parents to stay in class watch their child dance, have fun, make friends and grow their confidence lesson by lesson.
2. NO exams or competitions
We provide an environment for children to learn quality dance education taught by industry professionals without the added pressure of putting children through exams and/or competitions. Allowing children to learn, have fun and progress in a positive environment without unnecessary anxiety or stress.
3. NO big end of year concerts
Big end of year concerts can be very time consuming and these days we are very time poor and often running on a schedule. Instead of big end of year concerts, where you have to sit through hours of other children dancing waiting to see your child, we offer a Presentation Day. This will be the last day of Term 4 on the same day and time as your child’s usual class and we invite you and your family along to watch your child dance and see how much they have progressed throughout the year. On this day they will also receive a certificate and a medal.
4. NO make-up
We would never ask you to put make up on your children for our Presentation Days.
5. Age appropriate material
At Leaps N Beats Dance we understand that kids are growing up too fast and need to be kids. We have a strict policy in ensuring all song choices and choreography are age appropriate for the students.
6. NO uniforms
Every child isn’t the same and doesn’t have the same likes. We believe that children should be free to express themselves in their choice of clothing in our classes, as long as it’s appropriate to the style of class that they are participating in and practical.
7. Inclusivity
At our studio we welcome everyone! Everyone is welcome to come and be their true selves, try things outside their comfort zone without the fear of judgement.
8. NO bullying
Leaps N Beats Dance aims to provide a friendly, family inclusive, safe place for all students, parents, families and staff. Any form of bullying will not be tolerated. This is a place where the passion for dance is born in a safe fun, learning environment.
9. NO extra costs
We understand that raising a family is expensive and we want your child to do able to do as many activities as possible. Therefore, there are no compulsory pop-up costs at Leaps N Beats Dance. The only cost is your dance class and of course footwear. This makes us a great dance school for parents with big families or families that like to experience different activities.
