Leaps N Beats Dance encourages individual expression, and there's no mandatory uniform. Your child is welcome to wear any attire that allows them to move freely without hindrance. While there’s flexibility in clothing choices, a leotard and ballet skirt are popular options. For Grand Leapers classes, it’s recommended to opt for
form-fitted outfits, aiding our teachers in observing your child’s alignment. Feel free to choose what suits your child's style, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dance experience!
Dance shoe requirements vary based on the program your child is attending. Mumma and Bubba classes are done barefoot. For Petit Leapers, ballet shoes are compulsory. Grand Leapers participants should wear dance shoes suited to the style of their enrolled dance class. Our priority is to ensure your child's comfort, safety, and enjoyment in every dance experience!
Parents are free to wear anything comfortable for movement and sitting on the floor. A popular and practical choice is activewear. We recommend going barefoot or wearing socks during the class.
Of course! Every class begins with a complimentary trial session. Bring your child along to experience it with no obligation to join, although we're confident you both will absolutely love it!
Absolutely! We have many dads who attend weekly with their children. This class offers a beautiful bonding opportunity, and we wouldn't want dads to miss out on it.
If your child is 3 years old and may not be ready for the independence expected in the Petit Leapers dance class, we offer a supportive environment in Mumma and Bubba Dance Introduction classes. These classes are specially designed for toddlers and provide a nurturing space for both parents and children to explore the joy of dance together. It’s a wonderful way to gradually introduce your child to the world of dance while ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
If a child misses their regular class, they are eligible for up to two make-up classes per term, provided we are informed before the class begins. The make-up class must take place within the same term as the missed class. While we strive to accommodate, we cannot guarantee that a make-up class will be at a convenient time for you. It's important to note that fees will not be refunded or credited if a convenient make-up class cannot be arranged.

Answer: Instead of a traditional end-of-year concert, which can be overwhelming and time-consuming, we host a presentation day right in the studio. Taking place during ntheir regular class time, we invite families to witness the classwork and dance routines showcasing what the children have learned throughout the term. This relaxed setting eliminates pressure, mirrors the familiar feel of their weekly class, and, of course, there's no need for makeup!
